Designed with style and durability, the Good Times RV Expedition Vehicle is constructed with fibreglass end-caps and sandwich fibreglass walls. These features offer you strength, durability, insulated comfort, and style in your own new off-road expedition vehicle.
Some expedition vehicle manufacturers are inexperienced, while some started as trailer assemblers. Good Times RV has been designing and building vehicles for customers for over forty years, assuring you of great quality.
Why is the fibreglass end-cap design so superior?
Fibreglass offers as-strong-as-steel structure, yet is lightweight and long-lasting. Fibreglass is molded and stranded with glass fibres giving superior torsional strength, where steel or alumium has to be formed by stamping thin sheets of metal making it difficult to insulate properly.
The end-cap concept offers the ability to extend the length of the expedition vehicle's accommodation without major structural changes. You can also have the end-caps raised to allow more headroom, and more useable volume, also without structural compromises.
Fibreglass sidewalls and roofs on Good Times RV Expedition Vehicles are vacuum molded to enclose polystyrene insulation. (The same way high-performance sailing yachts are made.) This process actually optimises strength, and offers the best possible insulation and protection from leaks.
The interior of Good Times RV Expedition Vehicles is calm and quiet due to the high-level of insulation. This insulation also keeps you cool in summer, warm in winter.
Molded fibreglass end-caps - at the front and back of the expedition vehicle's cabin - seal out moisture because they are a single piece of fibreglass. Most RVs and caravans are made up of smaller segments, front and back wall segments are glued, and the seams need to be caulked with a silicon material, then capped with aluminium trim, all which can weaken, leak and become mouldy! Good Times RV Expedition Vehicles are made without all these weak points found in most RVs, caravans and expedition vehicles.
